Design Advice: Curating the Perfect Home Office
If curating the perfect office is that one ongoing project that you dream about but never seems to be finished, then we should be friends. It must be every blogger's dream to have the perfect space where inspiration flows freely and creativity knows no bounds...even if you end up working most days on the couch. It is the very idea of having the space available and conveniently located that makes us swoon and repin those 30 million pictures on Pinterest.
I hope you are as inspired as I am -- now let's see if we can all muster our weekend warrior willpower and create this perfect space! Which of these spaces do you like best? Need more workspace inspiration Check out my workspace inspiration Pinterest board to find the perfect starting point!

Gift List or Wish List?
The holidays are upon us and finding the perfect present for every member of my family becomes my extreme obsession right around....well, now. I pride myself in finding those awesome clever-but-still-thoughtful presents for those that I love, but here is where I run into my most major snag. Searching for the "perfect present" means that I end up spending about 75% finding things to add to my own list.
So -- er-- here is the beginning of my personal list after my first 3 hour Etsy session of the season!

One Rug. Three Styles.
I keep running across this silly little kids rug from Land Of Nod, and I can not help but be impressed by the $99-$299 price tag and the versatile pattern. The number one request I get from friends and family is for help picking out the perfect rug. I don't know why picking out rugs causes such anxiety for most (or at least the ones in my life), but this simple pattern works well with most interiors - mod, polished or vintage.
Don't worry about pairing it with low, medium or high-end pieces because this magic carpet holds its own!
